We chose the name Mana Kai because of its Hawaiian meaning:  Mana  is life energy/sacred force and Kai is water.  Our two favorite places in the world are Hawaii, where we are originally from, and Lake Tahoe.  Our goal is to provide affordable long term housing to the residents of South Lake Tahoe.
